Illinois State University prides itself in being one of the premier physical education/teacher education universities in the country. We have a large program that produces quality physical educators. Student teaching is the final stage of that career path for most of our students. Upon completion of student teaching, our students will graduate with a K-12 certification in physical education.
Physical education/teacher education majors student teach at both the elementary and the secondary levels allowing them to gain a wide variety of teaching experience.
