KNR Graduate Admission Requirements
The mission of the graduate program in the school of KNR is to prepare professionals committed to the promotion of health-enhancing lifestyles by emphasizing the role of scholarship and focused disciplinary study. This advanced knowledge prepares a graduate to think conceptually and analytically, and to positively impact professional practices and policies in their chosen profession.

The Master of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Recreation is a 33 hour program over two academic years. Before applying, please review our specific admissions requirements.
The M.S. Degree program offers six sequences. Each sequence provides for focused study in a specific area while allowing for additional study within and outside the School.
An individualized Plan of Study in your area of specialization is developed with your graduate advisor when you enter the program. The basic 33 hour program is structured as follows:
Except under unusual circumstances, a maximum of 9 hours of graduate credit may be transferred from another institution. The transfer must be approved by your academic advisor and the graduate program director.
